2008 - 2009 Youth Crew Nomination
Every Voice in Action is looking for 10 high school and college-aged students to join our youth grantmaking program – the Youth Crew. The Youth Crew plays a critical role by providing foundation staff with insight into the issues facing youth today. Youth Crew members are also fully engaged in Every Voice in Action’s annual Youth Voice grant round – creating the Request for Proposals, reviewing proposals, and making the decisions about how to distribute $50,000 in grants to local nonprofits and schools. New this year, Crew members will also explore community issues, learn how to be effective agents of change, and share their voice with the community through a variety of community change projects.

We would greatly appreciate your help in identifying and nominating youth for this leadership opportunity (a Nomination Form is attached). For more details about the Youth Crew, including time commitments, please call Ed Mercurio-Sakwa at 615-2100 or visit our website at www.everyvoicefoundation.org/yac_happenings.php. Nominations are due by Wednesday, August 27!
