Marana USD has several winners in the Best of the Northwest contest! Voted #1 Best Place to Work for a third year in a row, we have many schools, teachers, and leaders to celebrate!
Marana High School Welding Club students created a saddle holder to display the saddle trophy that the MHS Girls Flag Football team won during this year’s rivalry game against Mountain View High School.

Looking ahead, the district has several initiatives we are pursuing with enthusiasm. On the heels of a positive letter-grade report from the Arizona Department of Education, we will continue to focus on providing relevant and innovative academics that prioritize the development of critical thinking and future-focused skills through project-based learning.
Opening in Fall 2025 in the Gladden Farms II community, our newest school is the third K8 in the district and helps support our community's rapid growth. Watch for more information, coming soon!

Since 2019, Marana Schools have steadily increased our ADE Letter grade scores, going from nine A and B-rated schools in 2019 to 16 in 2023!
